The HSM StoreEx HDS 150 digital data media shredder destroys digital media devices in a safe and economical way – and is data protection compliant as well. In today's world, the destruction of personal and client data is very important and the shredding of paper is now commonplace. What is less so is the destruction of  data storage devices such as, personal USB sticks, portable hard drives, CD's/DVD/s and laptop/PC hard drives.  With capacities equivalent to millions of pieces of paper, these items are gold mines for data thieves and must be destroyed before being disposed of.

An example of what this system is capable of would be for it to take a conventional 3.5 inch hard disk and cut into at least three parts which is a "H-3 security cut". The security level is thus many times higher than with conventional methods.
