Horizon EF-35 / EF-354

The EF35 is a two-fold plate suction paper folder. The EF354 is a four-plate suction folder. The four-plate model is ideal for small pharmaceutical and similar small format work. Both models are suction feed with top loading, allowing the continuous use of the folder without having to stop and reload.

The roller gap shafts employ a simple sheet inserting adjustment system. Combination rubber and steel rollers create positive grip which ensure this models accurate and consistent fold quality for all types of media. Buckle plates are housed in the sound proof cover to minimize operating sound. The bottom feed suction rotor and gate plate perform reliable sheet feeding for litho and digital print media. The angle and volume of air for pile separation can be adjusted to feed a wide range of stocks ranging 50 to 240gsm. The variable-speed delivery conveyor allows a variety of fold patterns to be easily received. Batching and counting are standard on both models. The air pump requires no additional space as it is housed in the folder table. For easy installation and mobility, the pump operates on single phase power. The air pump consists of 15m3 compressor for suction feeding and blower motor for sheet separation. The feed timing and side air blow can be changed without the need for any tools. These folders are capable of speeds up to 27,000 sheets per hour.
