The Morgana DocuFold is a suction feed, simple to operate,
highly productive folding solution for the digital and litho print market.
This second user folder was previously used with an Education department print room, hence its excellent condition. It has also just been serviced by a Morgana Engineer.
The Morgana DocuFold has a powerful suction feed which handles a wide range of coated or non-coated material and incorporates side lay alignment of the sheets before they enter the fold plates. The feed table also has a suction chamber which controls curly or static charged paper.
For simplicity of use the DocuFold is unparalleled. Setting are either metric or imperial sizes. Sensors measure the paper length and calculate the fold plate position according to the type of fold requires. The fold plates and delivery roller then move automatically to the correct position.
The fold rollers are extremely durable and can handle a wide range of coated or non-coated material used by digital and litho printers. The DocuFold isn’t affected by characteristics of the paper, its perfect for all run lengths, either short or very long, it’s designed to handle all eventualities.
The suction feed is one of the outstanding elements of the DocuFold. The feed can be set to pulse or steam and is capable of folding extremely accurately. The feed table also has a suction chamber which controls curly or static charged paper. With its small footprint and ability to be moved around, due to its hard-wearing castors, the DocuFold Folder is perfect for every print environment.
The DocuFold also includes the perforation unit as standard. Up to four perf wheels can be added to allow multi-perforation on a single sheet pass.
